Stripped down and ready you arrive. You know this place, it is somehow more familiar than any place you have ever lived, and yet you are seeing it as if for the first time. It’s your body, your soul, and it is a holy place that exists inside them. You are offered a choice: keep walking other people’s paths, visiting other temples, making and obeying other god’s. Or initiate into You. You choose initiation. You choose you. The ceremony continues and you are given the chance to set down your identity from the outside world, drop the bag of stones you have been carrying- the shoulds, the expectations, the criticisms you have been collecting- would you like to?

You have been living by their rules, would you like to take the time to explore and write your own?

This retreat is for a very specific female-identified human. It is for you who have been seeking, exploring, attempting and want to do the thing already. Be who you know you are capable of being. Live from the inside out, your way. You’ve read the books and gone to the things, and are aware of your own power. Maybe you’re even a little afraid of it or aren’t quite sure how to find it again when it seems to fade away. You’ve had knowings that have changed things, or would have, had you listened. You’ve tasted wildness- mayhap sipped it during sex or while dancing or on lost the edge of the earth.

And you want more. You are ready to, to the best of your abilities, live in these things full time.

What if there is something inherently good and right and sacred at the core of who you are, and all of the things you are experiencing- the feelings, wants, impulses. If we bypass the bullshit of your constructed personality and all the things you think you should want, feel, and do, what is underneath? Who is that and what if She is right? Deeply and profoundly. If nothing else, what does she have to tell you?

Born out of ten years of painting and interviewing women and their pussies, and over 20 years of movement work, Blood+Honey explores this simple but radical question and the profound shifts that asking causes.

BLOOD+HONEY: PRIESTESS EMBODIED is a week-long initiation and training in the holy potency of You. We will take a week to explore the edges of your internal map experientially- your light your shadow, your sex, your rage, your glory, and your surrender- until you know you for real. Then with humor and rowdy sisterhood we will dedicate you as a Priestess Embodied. Your altar, your path, walking the walk you’ve always felt inside, your own way (surrounded by badass babes who are doing the same and cheering you on mightily).

This is a six day, five night in-person retreat in Northern New Mexico at the wonderfully wild and deeply nourishing Ocamora Retreat Center, lead by Ranier Amiel, Jaye Marolla, and Cara Levick.
